The partnership with Homes England and the National Housing Bank aims to speed up homes and regeneration.
Liverpool City Region Combined Authority, Homes England and the National Housing Bank have signed the first Place Delivery Agreement in England.
The agreement creates joint delivery units and shared commitments to accelerate housing, regeneration and growth in line with mayoral priorities. Homes England says such agreements will become its main way of working with mayoral authorities.
Housing is devolved, and Homes England operates in England only.
