Daily Alba is being developed as a news destination with a Scottish perspective and an outward-looking view of the UK and the world.
Our editorial approach
We aim to distinguish verified reporting from analysis and opinion, attribute factual claims to reliable sources, correct material errors transparently and make the context behind a story accessible.
About this edition
The stories here are original, concise summaries of attributed sources, including a supplied press release, not copied articles or independent on-the-ground reporting. Illustrative images are clearly labelled and do not depict the events reported. You can send a private enquiry or correction through the contact form. Editorial team details, ownership and a formal corrections process still need to be confirmed before a full publication launch.
