Tehran offered to reopen the Strait of Hormuz if Washington lifted its blockade of Iranian ports.
Iran says it has received a US response to its latest proposal to revive the collapsed Gulf ceasefire, Reuters reports, days after President Trump said he had rejected it.
Under the plan, the US would lift its blockade of Iranian ports and Iran would reopen the disrupted Strait of Hormuz within seven days.
Officials did not say what the response contained. Qatari mediators had shuttled between envoys in New York.
