Katie Harrison of the Scottish Conservatives has been elected to represent Forth and Endrick (Ward 2) on Stirling Council following a by-election on Thursday 1 October.

The result

First preference votes were: Katie Harrison (Conservative) 1,188; Mhari Duncan (SNP) 1,057; Paul Godzik (Labour) 380; Andrew Adam (Greens) 317; Jeremy McDonald (Reform UK) 298; James MacLaren (Liberal Democrats) 175; and Robert Davies (Independent) 55. Ms Harrison was elected at stage seven of the count; the quota was 1,736.

Turnout

The electorate was 10,847 and 3,493 ballot papers were received, a turnout of 32.2%. There were 23 rejected papers.
